Skybox Alignment

Inspect the bundled skybox textures against the star overlay and the explicit celestial and galactic guides. The Earth reference is fixed at J2000.0, and the cyan line marks its spin axis.

Use the guides, marker overlay, and flat calibration view to inspect bundled skybox conventions. The blue guide is the celestial equator, the gold guide is the galactic equator, and Reset to preset restores the source-based alignment for the selected texture.

Flat Calibration

This is the texture itself in equirectangular form, with bright-star anchor markers plotted directly onto it. Use this view to inspect native image orientation, seam placement, and handedness for the selected skybox. The 3D scene is still useful, but this view is much easier to inspect directly.
